DAY 1: ARRIVAL ENTEBBE, OPTIONAL SUNSET CRUISE

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda, our friendly guide will be there to welcome you and drive you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to embark on a sunset cruise on Lake Victoria, where you can relish the serene views of the lake as the sun gently sets.

DAY 2: VISIT ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY, DRIVE TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will enjoy a walking safari to meet the white rhinos that have been reintroduced to Uganda. In the afternoon, you will head to the legendary Murchison Falls, which lends its name to Uganda’s biggest national park.

DAY 3: BOAT RIDE TO THE NILE DELTA, GAME DRIVE AND NILE CRUISE

After breakfast, embark on a memorable boat ride to the Nile Delta, offering abundant wildlife and bird-watching opportunities, including the rare shoebill. Enjoy a bush breakfast on the banks of the Nile, followed by a game drive across the African savannah to Lake Albert, where you can spot various animals and bird species. In the afternoon, relish a private cruise up the Nile to Murchison Falls, marvelling at the impressive falls and the chance to spot Nile crocodiles below.

DAY 4: MURCHISON FALLS GAME DRIVE, FLY TO KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

Today, experience both the top and bottom views of the falls. Afterwards, catch a flight from Bugungu Airstrip to Kasese Airstrip, where you'll meet your guide and drive through picturesque tea plantations to Kibale Forest National Park. Located in Western Uganda, the park features diverse landscapes at elevations ranging from 1,100m to 1,600m.

Embark on a chimpanzee habituation adventure in Kibale Forest National Park, observing their morning rituals and social interactions with an experienced ranger. In the afternoon, enjoy a cultural walk around Bigodi swamp, visiting a traditional healer and interacting with the local community.

DAY 6: DRIVE TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK, BOAT RIDE ON KAZINGA CHANNEL

After breakfast, head to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda's popular game reserve with diverse habitats. Visit the "Old Lamps for New" initiative en-route, promoting sustainable tourism by exchanging items for iron implements, successfully curbing illegal activities. In the afternoon, enjoy a private boat ride on the Kazinga Channel to witness the remarkable biodiversity of Queen Elizabeth National Park.

DAY 7: LION PREDATOR TRACKING, DRIVE TO ISHASHA SECTOR

Embark on an early morning game drive in the northern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park led by a lion researcher, offering a chance to observe lions and diverse wildlife. Continue to Ishasha in the southern region, known for tree-climbing lions, and explore the park's remarkable biodiversity, featuring diverse landscapes. In the evening, engage in a community conservation project and enjoy a sundowner while watching the sun set over the expansive savannah.

DAY 8: GAME DRIVE IN ISHASHA, DRIVE TO BWINDI NATIONAL PARK

Depart for Bwindi National Park in the morning. On your way, you will have another chance to spot the tree-climbing lions on your game drive in Ishasha Sector. After lunch, you will continue to the home of the mountain gorillas, which also provides refuge to elephants, chimpanzees, monkeys and various small antelopes, as well as 23 bird species restricted to the Albertine Rift.

DAY 9: GORILLA TREKKING

This morning, rise early for the thrilling experience of mountain gorilla trekking, one of the most exciting wildlife adventures. Guided by an experienced ranger, the trek may last two to six hours, offering remarkable rewards as you gain insights into the flora, fauna, and captivating lifestyle of these incredible gorillas.

DAY 10: FLY BACK TO ENTEBBE, DRIVE TO JINJA 

After breakfast, drive to Kihihi Airstrip for a scenic flight back to Entebbe, enjoying the aerial view of South-Western Uganda. Upon arrival, your guide will drive you to Jinja in the Eastern part of Uganda, with an optional visit to the source of the Nile if time allows. Later, head to your accommodation for a comfortable overnight stay.

DAY 11: OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES IN JINJA

Spend the day relaxing at the lodge or choose from the optional activities available. These include white water rafting on the Nile, kayaking, horse riding through the villages and farmlands along the Nile, bungee jumping or a bicycle ride.

DAY 12: DRIVE TO ENTEBBE AND DEPART

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Entebbe, allowing time for souvenir shopping and a picnic lunch based on your departure schedule. If you missed visiting the source of the Nile on the first day, you can include this activity on your last day.

DAY 9: GORILLA TREKKING
