For those pushed for time and determined to encounter and spend treasured time with the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat, this four-day itinerary features two days of gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It's also a great add-on to a more general tour of Uganda or a visit to neighbouring Rwanda.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL ENTEBBE, FLY TO BWINDI NATIONAL PARLK

Upon arriving at Entebbe International Airport, finalise formalities and board your 12:00 pm flight to Kihihi Airstrip. Your guide will meet you there, escorting you to your lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, renowned for its endangered mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, and diverse bird species. To prepare for the upcoming gorilla trekking adventure, an early bedtime is recommended tonight.

DAY 2: 1st GORILLA TREKKING

In the morning, embark on your first gorilla trekking experience, one of the most thrilling wildlife adventures lasting two to six hours with remarkable rewards. Guided by an experienced ranger, gain insights into the flora, fauna, and captivating lifestyle of the incredible gorillas. In the afternoon, consider a village or forest walk in Bwindi National Park.

DAY 3: 2nd GORILLA TREKKING EXPERIENCE

Early in the morning, embark on a second trek to encounter the gentle giants in Bwindi's impenetrable forest, led by an experienced ranger guide with inspiring views. Trek to a different gorilla family, witnessing adults caring for their young, grooming, and resting, while playful youngsters engage in play.

DAY 4: FLY BACK TO ENTEBBE AND DEPART

After breakfast, you will drive to Kihihi Airstrip and fly back to Entebbe enjoying the beautiful aerial view of South-Western Uganda, the hills and thick vegetation as well as the farming practiced by the locals. Upon reaching Entebbe, you will connect to your return flight home.
